As Workforce Development & Success Coach with United Against Poverty's STEP (Success Training Employment Program), I play a pivotal role in connecting and engaging with our Employee Partners within the Central Florida Community. My responsibilities include providing personalized coaching, support, and resources to help participants develop essential skills and secure successful employment. Our mission at STEP is to lift lives above poverty by empowering individuals with the tools and opportunities they need to achieve economic stability and long-term success. Through continuous engagement and tailored support, we strive to make a tangible difference in the lives of those we serve._____As an Advanced Sommelier I have a passion for wine and spirits, and I have been studying, practicing, and became licensed and certified in the art and science behind mixology. I have successfully passed my Advanced Sommelier exams through the Court of Master Sommeliers. Having studied since 2014 I obtained my certifications from The Court of Master Sommeliers and the United States Bartenders' Guild, and I have developed and executed signature cocktail menus for various restaurants and venues, including the popular Toothsome Chocolate Emporium at Universal Orlando Resort.I also founded SommThing Special Wine Events, a company that offers private tastings and education sessions for wine lovers and enthusiasts.My interest in sommelier and mixology stems from my background in acting, musical theatre, directing, and playwriting, which I pursued at Marymount Manhattan College and Valencia College. I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree, and I enjoy performing and entertaining, as well as learning and sharing stories and cultures through wine and spirits. My goal is to continue to advance in the Somm world, broaden my palate and knowledge, and provide excellent service and memorable experiences for my clients and partners.
