Hello,I am the founder of The Retail Practice.My journey to launch The Retail Practice has been via H&M, The Arcadia Group and Tesco. A part-time shop-floor position while studying led to series of retail marketing roles in The Arcadia Group. In 1998, together with a small team, we launched the group's first websites and I became Group Head of Online Marketing. In 2001, I joined Tesco as the supermarket decided to 'get serious' about clothing. We launched Cherokee to step-change perceptions (and market share) and set about a trade-driving plan to convert 1 in 6 Tesco shoppers (from 1 in 12) to clothing loyalists. Seven years later, the clothing business was at £800m and their volume market share put Tesco consistently in the top three. In 2008, to help realise my ambition of launching a retail marketing agency, I joined The Moss Bros Group to help the brand regain its relevance and gain valuable wider business insight. In 2010 I launched a consultancy that has developed into The Retail Practice - We're digitally driven and customer-led, relentlessly focusing on creating brand-building, people-first digital experiences, and communication.
