Supervisor: Dr. Andre TremblayPerformed routine and timely analysis of biodiesel samples using GC-FID according to ASTM D6584 standards. Responsible for the design and construction of a pilot scale continuous membrane biodiesel reactor, including HAZOP studies, writing SOPs, and system optimization. Other responsibilities included, operating the reactor, separating glycerol from biodiesel, methanol recovery using rotary evaporation, salt and water testing, and biweekly report writing.
