(2010 and 2011). I monitored legislation at the state and federal levels around issues important to family caregivers, including Alzheimer's research, long-term care, nursing homes, direct care workforce development issues, and Medicaid and Medicare. I maintained FCA's legislative center, where we tracked state and federal legislation impacting family caregivers. I provided technical assistance to service providers, media, policymakers, and researchers and assisted 25 caregivers a month through telephone consultations about long‐term care. I also assisted with improving our social media presence, for example, through a "30 Days of Caregiving" campaign we hosted on FCA's blog with guest posts from leaders in the caregiving world. -
