Production Supervisor
CurrentAssign operators to specific duties on a daily basisTrouble shoot and document any production problems to minimize impactFacilitate initial, and ongoing training to operators in areas of safety, equipment and processes, Standard Operating Procedures, and company policies and practicesInvestigate opportunities for improvement to increase efficienciesInteract with peers, subordinates and other departments to achieve common goalsMonitor equipment and premises, issuing work orders for maintenance required and continued follow-ups to ensure that repairs are completed on a timely basisParticipates in employee evaluations and disciplineEscalate any problems during a production run Escalate deviations from Standard Operating Procedures Working in compliance with the company’s Health & Safety Policies/SOPs including but not limited to the Safety Responsibilities ProcedureCanvassing of daily and weekly overtime within the confines of the CBA
