Building relationships is what I do. It’s not rocket science. I put people first, business second and technology third.Whether it’s with business partners, clients, consumers or employees, I develop and nurture meaningful relationships. I’ve always been good at it and my understanding of the technology behind the Web complimented my skills, offering me an opportunity to connect people around the world who have common interests.My career started building an intranet for a large, public university and grew as I developed communication solutions in the legal industry. My skills took a leap forward when I was asked to deliver a corporate Intranet for a telecommunication giant with a user base of 10K employees. The project came with an aggressive timeline, limited budget and a small, tiger team. Through strategic planning, quick decisions, the right technology and a LOT of coffee, we delivered on-time, on-budget and saw employee adoption skyrocket. I expanded my experience into enterprise content management (ECM), human resources information systems (HRIS) and eDiscovery systems. As social media channels were introduced to the mix, I accepted a challenge in the health care industry analyzing the potential of channels like blogs, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and Pinterest so my clients could better connect with patients. As a result, I grew a small team of three social media professionals and $300K in revenue to a team of more than 25 dedicated social media professionals and $3MM in just four years. After leading large teams of 50+ marketing professionals delivering integrated marketing solutions to the education industry, I left the corporate world to start my own agency. One that broke all the agency rules, filtered out all of the politics, and delivered amazing results for my clients at competitive prices and accelerated timelines. And it works!
