Junior Software Engineer
Current• Building optimization software for printing a manufacturer using Java, Spring and Hibernate. The overall scope of this project includes creating API endpoints using GraphQL and REST, building testing structures(Unit testing and Integration Testing) using JUnit and Mockito to ensure efficient and effect code and to provide reliability and database management using flyway as data migration technology and making use relational Databases in PostgreSQL and DBeaver. • Database management and modification for new and old functionality – creating, updating or deleting tables whilst also altering relationships and also creating new relationships with custom queries – PostgreSQL and DBeaver• Building new functionality and improving existing code on website used for optimization software mentioned earlier.Using React.js and MUI to build and modify website as we introduce new functionality and also change existing functionality such as how we display data and UI components, altering tables containing data and to create certain functionality like which users can access and see certain data and which users cannot.
