As a manager at Novantas, I assisted U.S., Canadian, and global banks, primarily in the areas of stress testing modeling and compliance (CCAR), as well as in funds transfer pricing and distribution strategy. This technical work was done using SAS, Oracle, Excel and proprietary Novantas models and modeling tools.

In my work at ECONorthwest, I specialized in econometric and statistical analysis, data management, and applied economics. I worked on a wide variety of projects in fields such as transportation, health care, education, and social policy. In my day to day work, I used tools including Python, Stata, Excel, SQL, and R.

Along with a Guatemalan partner, I founded a very successful tourist map in Quetzaltenango (Xela) Guatemala. This involved design, writing, selling ads, managing client relationships, printing and distributing the map, most of it in Spanish.

I worked closely with several economists providing research assistance in areas related to consumer credit. Highlights included the replication of an industry-standard credit scoring model and annual study and analysis of national mortgage lending data.

Filled patron requests, did checkins and checkouts, and scolded the copy machines when they got out of line.
