I continue to produce and develop marketing, training and promotional videos for Hunter Industries and FX Luminaire. Being the senior multimedia producer has allowed me to join efforts with our training department as well as continuing my direction within the marketing department to handle the needs for the company and our customers as our company continues to grow.

In July 2012, I became Hunter's Multimedia Producer, working directly for the newly created Multimedia department. I focus on all aspects of producing videos for Hunter and FX Luminaire's marketing and training videos. I work in all stages of video production: Managing multiple projects in all stages of development, conceptualizing video ideas with the training and promotions department, acting as a liaison with outside production professionals, working on script development, supporting field production, and all creative and strategic levels of video editing, motion/graphic design, branding, sound engineering, etc. It's very exciting to be able to help bring the Hunter and FXL brand to life.

By title, I'm a graphic designer, but in addition to that I have focused more on the real needs behind the scene that allow a marketing department to function efficiently and smoothly. Problem solving is a strong skill to have.Implemented a naming and file management standard for projects and created a proper folder structure that allows for organized file handling of thousands of projects along with how all files relevant to every project are managed.Researched company needs by holding interviews to obtain the "pain/needs" factor of individuals and identified solutions for how project requests are made and moved throughout the proper chain of decision makers for project management using a CMS system.Implemented DayLite - a Content Management System for managing projects, people, communication, etc. that allows for amazing overview of everything related to contacts, prospects, time management, generating leads and project status reports, providing an overview of tasks and delegations and much more.Managed consultants when short term work was required - having the inquisitive skill to ask the right questions for the purpose of providing optimal solutions that take into account everyone from the end user to the different departments involved and gathering estimates and budgets for comparing potential partners in short term collaborative projects. Implemented ProofHQ - a digital collaborative proofing and review process for projects. This has saved so much time spent on the proofing and review cycles and allowed for greater communication and clear overview of decisions made with people in and out of the company. Created a streamlined process for the creation of owners manuals that takes into account the project managers, copywriters and the designer - saving weeks on the layout process by automatically mapping content from Word into InDesign which allows for automatic importing and page layout creation.

After becoming an Adobe Certified Expert, Neil Bruington, the head of the Graphic Communications department, asked me to join the team as one of the department's instructors. I taught all levels of Photoshop, and also created a Flash Animation class during my time there. I often had excellent reviews by students and enjoyed the experience to bring my passion into the classroom environment.
