During the second half of 2017 I was seconded to the in house legal team team of Cummins Limited based in Staines. My role was to advise upon both purchasing and sales contracts within the business and to assist in negotiations with both customers and suppliers. Some of my work included reviewing, drafting and negotiating direct supply agreements, NDAs, master service agreements, design responsibility agreements, letters of intent and master sales agreements. I worked with both the indirect purchasing team and the various direct procurement functions of Cummins to agree long term supply agreements with key suppliers.
