Having co-founded and successfully exited the Instant Group in 2014, I decided to use my experience of the shared office industry to fill a growing gap in the market for more than just a space to work. On a £2 million investment from Coast 2 Capital’s Growing Places fund, I created PLATF9RM as a community-orientated hosted workplace, where member experience comes first. In just 3 years, myself and the PLATF9RM team breathed new life into 35,000 sq ft of unused office space, and grown our membership from zero to 1000. I’m proud to say that PLATF9RM is an important part of Brighton and Hove’s business landscape.

We run a leading programme of cultural events and activities for our members, and serve a carefully designed breakfast and lunch menu to enhance productivity as well as hot drinks and snacks throughout the day. We’re proud to be part of the Brighton and Hove community, and are always looking for ways to contribute to the success of the city. As well as opening up a cafe coworking space to the public, we regularly co-create and host events and activities with local arts, culture, education and third sector organisations. We also welcome members of the public to attend our monthly PLATF9RM Presents events, and our biannual conferences.
