I want to share how we can take care of our planet and simultaneously involve local communities and profits. 📖 Through the University of Florida MDP, I had the opportunity to visit Sapana Lodge in Nepal. I worked with the management and community to study the impacts of mindfulness in tourism and its effect on foreign travelers. There is an increasing demand for alternative stress reduction techniques that do not involve external substances, healing from within using your energy. 🥣 I am passionate about sound healing using traditional Nepali bowls stimulating vibroacoustics and psychoacoustics to stimulate harmony in the human bioenergetic field. I studied Hatha Yoga in Nepal, and I am certified in Sound Healing and Hatha Yoga. 🍃 My passion for sustainable/ eco-tourism and wellness has inspired me to pursue the path of Sustainable Tourism and Mental Health, to be part of a community that helps achieve mental, physical, and spiritual well-being using traditional medicine from ancient cultures, mainly sourced from organic herbs and traditional practices such as Ayurveda, Chinese Medicine, Ice Baths, Meditation, Body Movement, Acupuncture, Non-Traditional Psychotherapy and other practices that do not involve pharmaceuticals or surgery for healing.
