1-1 tutor for child with Acquired Brain Injury [ABI]. Primarily helping the child to improve communication, social and basic learning skills.

Responsible for recruiting new students. First point of contact plus offering support and information for current and prospective students via Unibuddy. Assisting staff to set up and run recruitment events. Giving presentations to underperforming sixth form schools in deprived areas about the importance of a university education. Writing blog posts for the NCH and Unibuddy websites.

Required the ability to tailor learning to the needs and abilities of the student. Regular duties included: 1-1 learning support throughout the school day, close observation of and response to changes in mood/body language, and creation of custom lessons. Provided 24/7 assistance while accompanying their class on a survival skills week in Scotland.
