A public policy consulting firm specializing in national defense, law enforcement, homeland security, the intelligence community and more.At this position I performed the following: - Participate in the development of reports and studies for Department of Defense components, including a leading DoD counterdrug organization.- Follow trends and developments on law enforcement and government efforts to counter transnational organized crime.- Conduct open-source research and analysis related to counter-narcotic and border security operations.- Draft memoranda for USG agencies and clients.- Engage in strategic communications such as creating twitter posts and other social media for a national level space organization, as well as a national level political association.- Provide research and analysis on contracting and aviation needs for government agencies to a major aerospace contractor.- Perform research for use in op-eds by supervisors and clients, including major figures in the aerospace community.- Monitor committee hearings in the House and Senate. - Engage in information gathering phone calls with USG and private sector organizations.- Follow, research, and report on space policy, trends, and developments in regards to national security.- Research and provide information to a prominent thought leader on space policy and issues.
