Throughout the years, I have worked at multiple entertainment companies. I have worked side by side with a Record Label Manager as his main intern/assistant. I focused on many day-to-day administrative duties like calendar management, scheduling meetings, placing orders, etc. I also, helped the marketing and A&R team successfully signing multiple in-house producers to the label and increasing our artists social media presence by 10%.Working at a digital marketing agency called 24&Eight Co. I focused on finding new up and coming artists as the Artist Relations Manager. With my title, it consisted of managing a team of two interns. Overseeing their tasks and making sure everything went accordingly. The interns would be in charge of scouting new and unheard of talent and offering our services to them. Generally, I would be the final part of the process, creating meetings and successfully getting 15 artists to work with us.As a Communication Studies and General Business major at San Francisco State University, I completed a great deal of work in courses like Interpersonal Communication, Leadership Communication and Conflict Resolution. Each of these major classes helped me be able to Communicate with any type of person. I took multiple courses in Economics, Excel and Marketing. These courses helped me understand how to work hands on with businesses and also Artists interested in making their own brand name/ business bigger too.
