I was the team's software engineer and was responsible for developing a high-fidelity prototype of an AR mobile application. ✦ Tested software prototype with 25+ participants using Participatory Design, Usability Testing, Heuristic Evaluation, and Observation to gather feedback and insights. ✦ Built three software prototype iterations (low, mid & high fidelity) in Unity with C# scripting and Google's Geospatial API, working closely with UI/UX designers using Figma to ensure a seamless and engaging user interface. ✦ Designed four transit infrastructure street scenes, including a street, a bus lane, a bike lane, a bus stop, a cyclist, and pedestrians using SketchUp 3D design software. ✦ Showcased our work to senior stakeholders from Teague, Mitsubishi Americas, and CDM Smith, demonstrating the value and potential of our AR solution.
