- Assist the Director of Benefits and Payroll with administration and funding of employee benefits plans, including but not limited to health/welfare plans, 5500 reporting, 401(k) and ESPP for 4500+ employees.- Creation/Distribution/Filing of 1095-C forms- Affordable Care Act (ACA) Compliance - Set up and process annual Open Enrollment for benefits- Management of employee leave programs- Create and transmit weekly benefit enrollment files to vendors- Create and transmit weekly demographic files to 401k administrator- Maintain all 401k enrollments, election changes, including ROTH, Catch-ups, and loan transactions- Maintain all ESPP enrollments, election changes, withdrawals and refunds- Test payroll/HR system updates prior to implementation - Assist payroll team, and HR/Payroll Reps with any questions regarding employee set-ups, benefits, 401k, taxes, payroll and Employee Self Service systems.- Assist with internal/external audit requests (SOX, SOC 1, SOC 2)Oversee the following duties of the HR/Payroll Assistant:- New hire onboarding, employee changes, and terminations- Process New Hire 1-9 forms on E-Verify- New Hire reporting

- Assist the Director of Benefits and Payroll with administration and funding of employee benefits plans, including but not limited to health/welfare plans, 5500 reporting, 401(k) and ESPP for 4500+ employees.- Set up and process annual Open Enrollment for benefits- Lead quarterly payroll meetings/conference call with divisional payroll staff - Create and transmit weekly benefit enrollment files to vendors- Create and transmit weekly demographic files to 401k administrator- Maintain all 401k enrollments, election changes, including ROTH, Catch-ups, and loan transactions- Maintain all ESPP enrollments, election changes, withdrawals and refunds- Test payroll/HR system updates prior to implementation - Assist Payroll Specialst, and HR/Payroll Reps with any questions regarding employee set-ups, benefits, 401k, taxes, payroll and Employee Self Service systems.- Assist with internal/external audit requests- Approve/Create payroll system user accounts and notify IT- Create and maintain department procedural documentationOversee the following duties of the Payroll Specialist:- Processing of in-house bi-weekly payroll for 4000+ employees- Filing/payments of Federal taxes, 940 and 941 returns- Filing/payments of mulit-state withholding and unemployment tax/returns in 49 states- Filing/payments of local taxes for multiple local municipalities- Filing/payments of USVI and Guam tax/returns- Reconciliation and filing of federal/state/local W-2's- Record applicable Stock transactions to ensure proper W-2 reporting- Process New Hire 1-9 forms on E-Verify- New Hire reporting

Process bi-weekly payroll. Data entry. Test system with changes prior to implementing in Live system.

Respond to federal and state agency notices for our clients. Balance and submit federal tax payments for entire client base. Prepare and submit unemployment returns and payments for clients.Research and report any upcoming federal and state payroll changes to Compliance Manager. New hire reporting for entire client base of 50,000+. Develop internal system generated state and federal forms to be used for tax filing purposes.Direct contact with 260+ clients for data/payroll entry.
