As a research assistant at the University of Massachusetts Boston, I am pursuing my PhD in Integrative Biosciences with a focus on biophysics. My research involves studying the dynamical behavior of synthetic lipid bilayers in fluid flow using techniques such as microfluidics, fluorescent microscopy imaging, image analysis, and micro PIV. I have presented some of my findings at the New England Complex Fluids Conference and the APS Division of Fluid Dynamics.I have over six years of research experience in fields such as fluid mechanics, soft matter, biophysics, and microfluidics, and over two years of experience as an application and CFD engineer at Parspajouhan engineering firm and as a freelancer as well, where I supported various graduate students and professionals with different engineering backgrounds and projects related to health care safety design, thermal systems, fluid dynamics and acoustics, biomedical applications, and multi-physics simulations. I also have four years of teaching experience in engineering and physics coursework, and I am proficient in MATLAB programming and image processing. I am looking for opportunities where I can contribute to a team's progress and continue my professional development.
