Using the cutting-edge rAAV gene-targeting methods, I investigated the mechanism of DNA repair and telomere maintenance in human cells; generated more than 20 different cell lines and contributed to the human cell line collection in Horizon Discovery. Using the isogenic collection of human cell lines deficient in DNA repair genes, identified the novel interaction between three DNA DSB repair pathways with the focus on telomere maintenance. Overall, my research leads to the 9 academic papers including 3 as first author.
