I manage a team of resource planners responsible for the volume and workload forecasting, capacity/budget planning, scheduling and service review of a multi site UK claims operation. The function is 2000 FTE in size and covers motor, property and personal injury claims.I am responsible for the ongoing development of the wider planning department and set up the staff development frame work and introduced an external industry accreditation scheme.In 2010 I was a planning industry innovation award finalist and speaker that the conference, since then I have regularly contributed to the planning industry at conferences, seminars and through on-line forums.

Delivered resource optimisation principles and supporting tools in to the UK General Insurance business, covering sales, service and claims (front and back office).I am experienced in change principles such as Continuous Improvement and Systems Thinking, I also hold a Prince 2 foundation certificate supporting my project management principles.

I managed a scheduling team responsible for the short term planning and service delivery in the sales and service function of the UK general Insurance business. The business was a multi site (on and off shore) function with 3000 FTE.In 2004 I was part of the team of 4 people who won an industry planning innovation award.

I undertook the role of compliance coordinator to ensure that the regulated sales and supporting processes were complaint and the needs of both compliance and the sales teams were understood.My management of the direct sales management information moved it forward through automation of reports,management of reports to reduce waste, review and alignment of reports to managers needs and analysis of data through regular discussion with the management team in the business.
