After graduating from Bryn Mawr College in 2018 with a degree in Comparative Literature and Film Studies, I became interested in cross-cultural communication and educational equity. I decided to join EMERGE Fellowship, a nonprofit organization that empowers high-achieving students from underserved backgrounds to excel in selective colleges and universities across the country. EMERGE played a vital role in my own college journey, and over the past 5 years, I have held multiple roles within the organization. Currently, as Manager of College Success, I oversee the academic progress of more than 450 EMERGE College Scholars at over 40 prestigious institutions. I use data analytics and mining to decipher trends, and then use that data to develop targeted interventions, virtual resources, and expansive projects that are embraced as best practices within internal training and national conferences. I am dedicated to guiding scholars through academic, financial, and wellness challenges and have contributed to a 91%+ persistence rate, as well as secured over $5 million in scholarships. I am committed to refining systems, forging university partnerships, and ensuring that our EMERGE scholars receive the support they need to graduate from college.
