🚀 Driving the Digital Transformation of Automotive Production – DIAZI Project 🚀I'm currently involved in DIAZI (Digitalization of the Industrialization Process in the Automotive and Supplier Industry)—a visionary project spearheaded by Continental in collaboration with eight renowned industry and research partners. Funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Protection, this three-year initiative is setting a new standard for digital manufacturing processes in the automotive sector, with the ultimate goal of contributing to sustainable mobility.🔹 Project Vision: Transform automotive production plants into state-of-the-art digital factories using AI, cloud-based data management, and digital simulations to accelerate innovation, enhance efficiency, and reduce costs throughout the entire production lifecycle.🔹 NAiSE's Contribution:NAiSE Focus 1: Enhancing material flow efficiency through optimized order and route planning for AGVs/AMRs and manually guided industrial trucks.NAiSE Focus 2: Achieving cost reductions via intuitive and straightforward installation processes that simplify operations.🔹 My Role:AI Leadership: Leading the AI project, from defining the pipeline and setting objectives to designing and developing advanced machine learning models.Data-Driven Strategy: Managing and analyzing extensive data sets to drive model training and optimization, ensuring robust and scalable solutions.Collaboration and Integration: Coordinating closely with cross-functional teams to align AI-driven advancements with the broader project objectives.💡 Outcome: The DIAZI project promises to revolutionize the production landscape by enabling faster, more sustainable, and cost-effective manufacturing solutions.

Project Spotlight: FlexCAR - Building Trust in Self-Driving Technology I had the privilege of contributing to the innovative FlexCAR project, a collaborative initiative with Mercedes-Benz, aimed at shaping the future of autonomous driving through innovative human-car interface solutions. The project was dedicated to creating a cyber-physical vehicle platform equipped with open hardware and software interfaces to enable vehicles that evolve over their lifetime.🔹 Project Objective: Develop self-reflective, self-describing, and service-oriented components that allow vehicles to be updated, upgraded, and reconfigured automatically—enhancing both the software and hardware to achieve a new level of adaptability and safety.🔹 My Role:Pioneered and developed two patent-worthy applications focusing on human-car interfaces to foster trust and transparency between users and self-driving vehicles.Contributed to the design and prototyping of innovative interaction systems to bridge the gap between human intuition and autonomous decision-making.Played a key role in addressing the challenges of open interface integration, enabling seamless interaction within an evolving vehicle ecosystem.💡 Outcome: Through this project, we showcased the feasibility of a scalable, adaptable vehicle model that redefines how cars of the future will be conceptualized, developed, and experienced.
