We are building our services with the “IDEALS” principles: interface segregation, deployability (is on you), event-driven, availability over consistency, loose-coupling, and single responsibility. This time I'm responsible for:- defining GraphQL interfaces- implementing micro-services in Typescript- leading small back-end team (six people)- comminicating with front-end, product teams- doing some DevOps task with Terraform- etc. Show less

I was responsible for:- defining REST API interfaces and writing documentation in Swagger (unfortunately I cannot say that we reached holy grail of REST architecture - Hypermedia as the Engine of Application State - but we did our best and implemented lot of other principles like client-server, stateless, cache-able, uniform Interface, layered system, code on demand etc.)- writing Unit tests, integration tests (in my opinion one of the most frustrating part of startup life because everything is changing really quickly and tests like to be red) - doing DevOps in AWS environment (Serverless framework and services like EC2, Fargate, API Gateway, Lambdas, IoT,...)- defining database schema (mostly NoSql databases like MongoDB, dGraph)- implementing micro-services (Clojure, Rust lang)- communicating with front-end team, product team - leading back-end team (six people) Show less
