During my time in Alpha Omicron Pi, I held the position of Director of Finance. I was responsible for managing the chapter's cash on hand and paying bills. In addition to creating and sending out member dues, I also worked on creating chapter budgets and generating other financial reports. To ensure financial transparency in the chapter, I added a breakdown of monthly dues to the weekly agendas, created an accessible chapter budget, and clarified the differences between different types of dues. These efforts helped improve the understanding of finances within our chapter.

At Amazon, I worked as an inventory receiver helping to unload freight trucks and check items into the inventory system. Working long hours physically taxing hours in a warehouse proved to be quite a challenge but as I became acclimated to the work I developed new endurance and grit. I also gained a good understanding of Amazon's inventory system as I learned to use tools typically reserved for problem solvers to troubleshoot my own issues and better my workflow. I also worked to organize and inventory piles of unaccounted-for items around my workspace.

I was part of a start-up group competing in the Women's Safety prize competition. The goal of the competition was to create the best women's safety wearable for a prize of one million dollars. I worked with local entrepreneur Ally Cliff-Jennings and other local businesswomen to help do R&D, design, and development of our women's safety product. At the time I was a sophomore in highschool with entry-level experience in CAD. Although young and lacking skills I was welcomed onto the team to contribute to the creation of our product and the learning that came along the way. We made it past the first round lowering from 85 to 15 teams. As we continued working it became apparent that we were competing against firms with already developed products who were seeking extra capital. Faced with this and the increasing costs of electronics development our team decided to drop out of the competition.
