As the English Language Arts (ELA) Coordinator at OESD 114, I am dedicated to advancing student achievement by supporting educators and schools in creating impactful, inclusive, and research-based ELA programs. I work closely with OESD staff, school districts, and the AESD network to provide professional development, coaching, and comprehensive support for K-12 ELA instruction.With a focus on collaboration, I assist districts in aligning curriculum, enhancing instructional practices, and integrating the latest research in structured literacy, MTSS, UDL, and culturally responsive teaching. My role includes designing staff development, coaching educators, and coordinating with regional and state-wide partners to strengthen teaching and learning across our communities.I am passionate about promoting equitable education and the civil right to read, ensuring every student in our region has access to high-quality, standards-based ELA instruction.
