CurrentHead of Platform & Infrastructure Engineering, overseeing eBay's cloud infrastructure and one of the largest private Kubernetes clusters globally. Leading a global team of 350+ engineers across North America, China, Europe, and Israel, with responsibility for the following areas:+ eBay Private Cloud: Kubernetes clusters & hardware fleet, end-to-end software stack, application frameworks, environments, shared libraries, language runtimes, tooling, and delivery engineering (Tekton-based CI/CD).+ User Experience Engineering: Cross-platform UI frameworks, eBay’s most popular opensource project (Marko), design system styling library (web, iOS, and Android), shared UI components, Accessibility product & engineering, and the Site Speed team, which owns the speed budget, provides performance tooling infrastructure for zero regression launches, and experiments new techniques to improve speed further.+ Leading a multi-year companywide initiative to continuously increase engineering and product velocity, primarily reducing the clock time between idea and customer value. Measured through a spectrum of KPIs, each showing 2x-4x improvements in the last three years.+ Gen AI developer productivity : Created and leading a team of ML scientists, data analysts, and full-stack engineers to uplevel developer productivity through generative AI, following a tripartite approach of commercial copilots, eBay codebase contextual fine-tuned LLM, and RAG-based internal GPT.+ Created a centralized engineering team that ensures all applications and services powering the marketplace are up to date on the latest software versions, security patches, and compliance policies, following a monthly cadence.
