A 501(c)(3) nonprofit collective of writers, editors, photographers, and filmmakers. The Black Film Guild trains students on the technical aspects of filmmaking and provides workshops, job training, online training courses, and in-person tutoring at little or no cost.

Respond to public and media inquiries regarding District regulations, permit processes, enforcement and legal authority and air quality conditions.Create presentations before school groups and service organizations and participate in various public events.Represent the District at meetings and conferences of community interest groups, professional associations, and public health organizations with the effects of air quality on human life.Design, write and oversee production of media kits, brochures, newsletters, web pages and other informational reference materials.Coordinate the dissemination of smog advisory and smog alert information to radio, television and newspaper publications.

SentTell was acquired by Mage Studios in September of 2019.SentTell is an Android application designed to prevent risky behavior by young adults. The application allows parents to monitor their childs smartphone by notifying them whenever photos are taken using their children's camera.

Represent Caltrans District 4 as a spokesperson for the department to the media, general public, other agencies and elected officials verbally and in writing, including on camera interviews. Answer public telephone calls, research public concerns, consult with stakeholders, compare alternatives, and recommend appropriate action to resolve difficult issues. Develop press releases and commuter alerts to notify the public, media, and stakeholders of Caltrans activities. Report on project status to the media and general public, which includes participating in video newscast updates. Present information to increase public awareness of Caltrans procedures which includes interaction with various agencies, functions and contractors on projects that may overlap. Respond to elected officials seeking information on issues regarding their constituent concerns. Keep management informed on issues that may develop into litigation and/or impact the Department’s credibility. Develop meeting notices, speeches, brochures, factsheets and other mediums illustrating Caltrans activities. Gather and disseminate information for road conditions, lane closures, detours, ramp closures and project status for dissemination to the public. Attend meetings intended to ease negative impact of road work projects and disruptions to the public. Coordinate public awareness campaign activities such as: public meetings, business community events in Caltrans booth. Develop booth displays and radio newspaper advertisements. Create and manage social media marketing campaigns, develop analytics, and statistical analysis reporting for District 4. Produce and direct monthly traffic video series. Regularly develop websites written in HTML and ActionScript. Create and maintain relational databases written in SQL and train other Public Information Officers on utilizing digital technology and database management.

Perform analytical and technical tasks associated with organizing and gathering content for the website and other online services. Consult staff with usability advice. Actively participate in website-related meetings to gather, evaluate, and apply information to continually improve the website. Assist in creating and updating web pages. Research the Internet and other resources for new ideas, products and techniques for improving the online presence. Lead various multimedia related projects including flash animations and developing presentations in varying formats. Program and maintain SQL database for the website.

Assure student representation on all different committees, boards, councils, and auxiliaries on campus. Write legislation and resolutions that sets the direction the University should be heading. Help in the management of the 10 million dollar budget. Perform events on campus for students. Hold speeches and be available to the press. Lobby at the state capitol on behalf of student needs. Function as the Board’s shared governance liaison. Serve as the liaison between: University, Associated Students Incorporated, Faculty, and Staff Committees to the Board of Directors. Coordinate all research, surveys, evaluation, development, and application of student issues as approved by the Board and/or the Associated Students Incorporated President. Responsible for gathering and reporting information from student university committees, board, and council representatives on issues, which require the attention of the Associated Students Inc. Board of Directors.
