Currently researching and writing a master's thesis on historical sugar production and trade. Combining economic history and environmental studies, this thesis will examine the colonial history of our current global sugar production to better understand how sugarcane became the most produced crop by mass in the world, despite its well-known deletrious health effects.

Facilitated interactive 1.5-hour review sessions weekly to support students in mastering climate science curriculum and analyzing scientific articles. Assisted in grading, planning presentations, and coordinating students and staff.

Independently researched food waste data, policy and tech innovations to create update presentations. Synthesized large climate and sustainability reports and articles into succinct summaries. Studied specific case studies in sustainability and created presentations on important findings.
