The Donor Motivation Program™ in Canada comprises a number of hand picked and vetted philanthropic professionals across the country. As the Executive Director, I support the philanthropic consultants in their goal to redistribute $1bn to nonprofits in Canada in the next 8 years. I work with Donor Motivation Program™ teams across Canada to provide training, marketing and strategic business development initiatives . I am responsible for the strategic initiatives, marketing, communications, and expansion for the " brands, including the training of DMP Professionals and their teams across Canada, expansion strategies, and the overall public relations of the brands. I work as a consultant to major nonprofits such as the Canadian Cancer Society, The Nature Conservancy of Canada, World Wildlife Fund, Toronto General & Western Hospital Foundation and Habitat for Humanity to organise donor events, create marketing campaigns, and develop branding strategies to enhance the planned giving efforts within their organisation.We are also deeply committed to The Canadian Association of Gifts of Canada as they look to expand their efforts to champion the growth and development of strategic charitable gift planning in Canada. United Financial is a division of CI Private Counsel, here I completed training in mutual funds, Private Client Pools, taxation reporting, and sales and marketing and moved on to train and mentor new individuals on the team on their proprietary products and services.I worked with Private Client Investment Counsellors to assist them with maintaining great communication with their clients and their referring advisors. I also provided the resources needed for Investment Counsellors and Financial Advisor to assist them during client meetings, financial planning, and trading. I managed various aspects of the clients’ financial requirements by providing support at the Corporate Office in Toronto to facilitate and follow up on market trading, billing, and reporting. I spent time examining asset mixes and financial logic to ensure that the clients’ requests matched the initial investment objectives and creating workflow strategies to ensure that requests and account maintenance was handled in accordance with our mandate.

Assante Wealth Management is a division of CI Financial. I worked in head office taking inbound inquiries from advisors and their branch employees regarding their clients’ accounts. I provided resolutions to problems concerning client statements, tax reporting, products, billing, and trading and coordinated between the Assante Processing Team and Assante Compliance Department to ensure that corporate mandates were maintained when dealing with Assante advisors and support staff.

Working at Free The Children provided me with practical experience in the nonprofit sector. I was able to work closely to develop programming and seminars used in school boards.As part of the Southwestern Ontario team I developed fundraising resources, fact sheets and guides, worked with teams on awareness-raising campaigns. I served as an advisor/mentor and offered guidance to stakeholders, while also acting as public speaker to over 5,000 individuals. Created new strategic approaches to engage stakeholders effectively, while streamlining existing systems and processes.I was also part of the We Day team and served as an ambassador for Free The Children at corporate events, coordinating speakers, performers, and educational events.

As a brand ambassador, I was responsible for face to face marketing, corporate liaison, and relationship management in Southwestern Ontario. We created events and promotional strategies, to maintain Redbull’s unique market share in Ontario.
