I am passionate about the Quantamental approach combining mathematics, statistics, and computer science with domain knowledge in financial markets. I am particularly interested in the commodities space, and the potential applications of quantitative tools to run analyses on it. Based in New York, currently I am pursuing a masters degree in financial engineering at WorldQuant University in which I am honing my skills in modeling and quantitative methods. I hold a BS in Geographic Information Systems, with a focus on geospatial data, which has given me a broader view at problem solving, and has positioned me as an asset in multidisciplinary teams.I have proven experience as an Equity Quant Researcher and Portfolio Manager for a Sovereign Wealth Fund, where I developed statistical models to predict equity returns and managed strategies for Developed Markets. Before that, I implemented Quantitative Investment Strategies across various asset classes, including Cash Equity, Equity Volatility, Commodities, and FX. I also worked as an Equity Derivatives Trader, specializing in hedging Autocallable Options.
