CurrentLed the development of a custom CRM system for Residential Care Facilities for the Elderly (RCFE), collaborating with a team to provide technical support and conduct PR reviews. The CRM was designed to streamline resident management, censuses, billing, batch payments, care services, and user roles, along with integration of HL7-based pharmacy APIs and an interactive facility floor plan connected to the resident database.- Acted as the system architect, responsible for designing and selecting the appropriate technologies for implementation.- Set up a full-scale, HIPAA-compliant AWS infrastructure featuring CloudFront, load balancers, AWS SES for email, and AWS S3 for document storage. Established CI/CD pipelines using Bitbucket for both frontend and backend applications.- Developed a comprehensive billing system based on resident census durations and corresponding rates (Medical, SSI, Self-Pay), automating billing period creation and bill payment assignments using an approach similar to that of banking systems.- Implemented UI/UX best practices based on Google Material Design, ensuring an intuitive and user-friendly interface.- Contributed by reviewing PRs for team members, offering solutions to enhance code quality, address error-prone implementations, and ensure code readability.- Created multiple multi-step pop-up dialogs for user input forms, featuring validation and dependable inputs based on previous selections, while storing the form state in Redux.- Designed a custom, interactive facility floor plan map that displayed facility occupation and filtered the resident list based on map selections, with backward filtering from the resident list to the floor plan.- Designed reusable form components, such as autocomplete lists with search-as-you-type functionality and customizable input fields for text and numbers with pattern validation.- Worked collaboratively in a team, participating in PR reviews and pair programming sessions.
