Sergey Brazhnikov an award winning fitness and wellness educator, with passion for movement and nourishing foods. Sergey enjoys helping individuals by using a holistic approach to well-being and fitness. Sergey believes in “wellness”, which is to make people function well, look well and feel well. He has a strong passion for providing others with a platform that is beyond fitness which leads to a successful life. His work has been greatly recognised by organisations such as Les Mills and Organic Mechanic. When Sergey isn’t busy educating people on the difference between bananas and processed junk, he can be found doing handstands in most obscure places. WHAT IS YOUR ROLE?I am a Nutritionist, Personal Trainer, Speaker and Wellness Educator. I involve myself in creating a better and cleaner environment by making conscious choices in what I eat, drink, whom I spend time with, what I wear and what I do in my daily routine at work. I collaborate with conscious community groups such and many social enterprises and network with companies such that care about the planet. The companies that are sustainable/ethical are the leaders at promoting the ways which will lead us towards the best possible future on this planet. WHAT PHILOSOPHY DO YOU WORK AND/OR LIVE BY?Leave this world a little better than you found it. Strive for making conscious decisions with everything you do. I like to use a term “conscious community” and I believe I am part of one. For the past 100 years, we’ve seen a lot of new things emerge in front of our eyes in terms of food, technology and things in many other industries. We almost all now know what is inherently good or bad for us. We can Google what makes us feel better or what the main drivers are behind global warming. We are connected more than ever, but also disconnected from the reality. We just need to care more and open our eyes.
