In 2007, I started working as a project manager in a company that managed small properties throughout Russia. The new idea of our company was to create a large chain of district-level shopping centers with convenience stores in the Central region of Russia. By 2012, we’ve acquired and built about 5 retail properties with a total area of approx. 20,000 sq.m. In 2012, as a result of the merger of two companies from the same investor, I became the Vice-President of a company with a large real estate portfolio. We focused on developing a chain of regional shopping centers in major Russian cities – Moscow, Ufa, Barnaul, Lipetsk, Belgorod etc. By 2018, we owned and operated 10 malls and 1 business center. In the same year, the investor for personal reasons decided to close the project and within a year we sold the entire property portfolio.Since 2019, I have been developing my own business - a franchisee-chain of coffee-to-go cafes. My friend/co-owner and I opened 8 coffee houses in three years, each of which works is still profitable. We have created a great and fun team that can solve any problem. We were able to develop in covid-19, although it was not at all easy for our industry, because it’s impossible to prepare coffee and other drinks via Zoom or Skype)))
