With over a decade of experience in representing organizations at the highest level of international government relations and driving impactful public affair agendas, I have acquired a unique combination of legal expertise, diplomatic acumen, and leadership skills. My proficiency spans across shaping global policies and strategies as well as reinforcing their positioning by building alliances and partnerships. I have a track record of negotiating and securing valuable deals while engaging multiple stakeholders at all levels. I have always been motivated by opportunities for making a positive impact in whatever line of business I work at, and to bring about sustainable, favourable change in the lives of people and organizations alike. Which I started many years ago by trying to improve lives at the local/municipal level. By following my passion for international affairs, I soon began making a positive difference at a larger scale. Through grit and determination, I got to find my way into a position of increasing responsibility at the Ministry for Foreign Affairs, to steer foreign policy in areas such as climate change, ocean affairs, health, cybersecurity, sustainable development, international law, among others. After years leading a Foreign Affairs unit, I was offered the privilege of representing Portugal at the pinnacle of international diplomacy, at United Nations headquarters, in New York, where – as a government representative – I seek bring about positive change on a daily basis.
