I’ve always been fascinated by the workings of law enforcement and how justice systems impact communities. My passion lies in understanding the legal system and finding ways to improve safety and fairness for everyone. This drive has inspired me to pursue Criminal Justice both academically and practically. As a Criminal Justice major at the University of North Texas, I am beginning to understand law enforcement and the justice system.Having graduated from Sunset P-TECH High School with both a diploma and an associate's degree in Criminal Justice, I’ve established a strong foundation in criminal law, ethics, and procedural justice. These experiences have sharpened my critical thinking and problem-solving skills, which I continue to refine in my current studies.During high school, I took on leadership roles in football and wrestling, learning the importance of discipline and teamwork qualities that have been crucial in my academic journey. I’m proud of my achievements and eager to keep building on them.I’m known for being highly disciplined and dependable. Friends and coworkers often look to me for support in group projects and leadership opportunities. My background in sports has given me resilience and a strong work ethic, which I apply to everything I do. Outside of academics, I enjoy staying active through sports and outdoor activities. These not only help me stay focused but also provide opportunities to give back and connect with others. One of my favorite memories was attending a Criminal Justice event where I interacted with professionals from various fields and learned about the diverse roles within the justice system. This experience reinforced my passion, showing me how many different paths in criminal justice contribute to community well being.I’m excited to connect with professionals and organizations in the criminal justice field. Feel free to reach out. I'm always open to learning and new opportunities.
