Responsible for detailed design, development and implementation of MES solutions, including creation of project design, design specifications, and test plans; participate in projects from definition through deployment and ensure that detailed design maintains architectural design principles related to reusable services, common technology underpinnings, and strategic technical capabilities, as well as alignment to architectural plan and roadmaps; work with Project Business and IT Leads to understand current processes, develop innovative solutions, prioritize activities, and troubleshoot application functionality; lead third parties in configuration, development, testing and deployment of applications and enhancements, and collaborate with regional team members and business subject matter experts in requirements definition and implementation. Utilize experience designing and leading more than 50 MES and SPC projects; developing and maintaining multi-plant solutions; GE Proficy PlantApps and Historian including installation, configuration, customization and deployment; integration between MES and plant floor systems, including quality applications, control systems, and PLCs) based on industry standard OPC; and integration with SQL databases and stored procedures.Projects implemented at companies like: Cummins Filtration, Clarios, Johnson Controls Power Solutions, Mahle, Sachs, Callaway Golf, PentAir Water, Tyco, etc. With work experience at Mexico, USA, Colombia, Brazil and Switzerland.
