As Design Engineer, I am in charge of design new products according Customer drawings and specification using Solid Works, build sample parts, ship it and keep in touch with the Customer to update drawings and build new Parts if necessary. FUNCTIONS: Administrate and implement of Error Proofing system (POKA-YOKE) all over the productive areas on the company, Administrate of Lesson Learned system to avoid difficult situation that other DELPHI plants occur in our plant and vice versa, Recollect, administration and graph of the CPK and RPN information for the plant STAFF used to define the strategies to improve productive areas on the plant, Administration of entire plant Tooling System including drawings recollect and engineering level control, Design of machinery/tooling to fix/improve productive processes machinery, Creation, revision and correction of engineering documents as PCP, PFD, PFMEA, Standard Cell and EOP, Coordinate the Change Request/Change Notice system for the control of changes on the productive areas, Coordinate on Machinery Qualification (MQ) and PPAP for new products and new model on products already produced in the plant.ACHIEVEMENTS: Reduction of the Lead Time on several productive areas from 1.3 thru 2.8 seconds using the tooling design, Cost reduction by implementing a system consisting of changing a damaged thread in a tool, instead of changing the entire tool, Effective program of improvement strategies due to the right information supplied to the STAFF about RPN and CPK, Reduction of defects due to the right and effective use of Error Proofing techniques, 100% compliance in MQ and PPAP dates in the projects assigned to me.

Lead and assure the correct and effective implementation of all the changes in the plant. Assure all the parts affected by each change must be updated before yo close the Change Notice, that is the electronic document used to control all the changes implementation.
