I'm currently advancing my education at the University of Incarnate Word, where I'm working towards a Bachelor's degree in Vision Science. My academic journey began at Northwest Vista College, where I earned dual Associate degrees in Biology and Art. During my time there, I seized every opportunity that came my way. I participated in the Learning to Lead Program, immersed myself in the Institute of Science & Technology, and became a member of the National Society of Leadership & Success.My professional experience is as diverse as my academic pursuits. I once held a summer position at a dental office, where I honed skills crucial for my vision science career. Later, I transitioned to a more challenging role as a Tier II Escalation Lead, where my primary responsibility was managing escalated calls. My tenure at Victory Capital as a Financial Service Specialist further expanded my expertise. At USAA, in the IT Service Operations department, I acquired valuable experience with ServiceNow, Active Directory, and mastered over 25 different applications. My time at EY was a foray into the realms of assurance and wealth management.Beyond my professional and academic endeavors, I am deeply committed to community service. It brings me great satisfaction to give back to my community, and I have proudly contributed over 25 hours of volunteer work. I also have 25+ hours of shadowing experience with academic and private practices. My aim is to continue blending service with my career aspirations, making a positive impact wherever I go.
