As part of the Project Delivery Management discipline, I manage software projects for large companies, working with distributed multicultural agile teams, being responsible for the delivery of value to the customer through the development and maintenance of software solutions, collaborating from a technical perspective with the different disciplines involved and applying lean-agile principles and other processes, practices and techniques relevant to the projects under my responsibility.Also I actively contribute to the Project Delivery Management discipline, the Agile Community and other technical disciplines.

At Practia Global my first responsibility was to take control and manage the software quality process of a software development project for a financial institution, that involved five different organizations in a multicultural and distributed environment. After that I was mainly involved in several strategy, organization, process improvement and transformation projects, that implied the application of proven and established process frameworks (ITIL, PMBoK, BABoK, COBIT, DMBoK, APQC, Frameworx) as well as lean-agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, DevOps, MLOps) and innovative process analysis techniques (Process Mining). These projects included assessment, diagnosis, definition, implementation and deployment of an IT operational model, an organization, a governance model and a process framework, in different degrees and scope of application according to the specific customer needs, for several companies in the financial, energy, health-care, media and telecommunications industries.As part of the consulting services I also gave talks and workshops on topics of IT Service Management, IT Governance, Scrum, Kanban, DevOps, MLOps, SAFe, Blockchain and Process Mining.Also, part of my responsibilities included pre-sales consulting, development of commercial proposals, people management, training and coaching.

During this period I worked mainly in two engagements: The first one was an IT strategic consulting project that included the unification of three different project offices (infrastructure, mobile and landline) into one consolidated PMO, for one of the main telecommunications companies in Argentina, covering the organizational, methodological, processes and tools aspects. The other one was the development and implementation of the IT Service Continuity Management Process and the Disaster Recovery Plan (end-to-end, including initial tests) for a big fintech in Argentina. Also, part of my responsibilities in Dell EMC included pre-sales consulting and development of commercial proposals.

As part of the Argentina IT department, I worked on the deployment of the Demand Management Process and also led several internal software development and software quality assurance projects.

During this second period in RMYA I joined the management team, with the purpose of helping to renew the commercial offer and reposition the company in the market by incorporating social media and Internet 2.0 practices. Also, I was involved in several customer engagements, including an IT strategic consulting project for a large logistics company, the management of a software testing automation project for a government agency, some process improvement and optimization projects to design, implement and deploy an Enterprise Project Management Process and its supporting tools for different world-class companies in the Retail & Manufacturing and Health Care industries. I also gave talks on topics software products quality evaluation according to the ISO/IEC 14598 and ISO/IEC 9126.Lastly, part of my responsibilities also included pre-sales consulting, development, presentation and pursuing of commercial proposals.

During this period I was a regular lecturer on topics of Software Project Management, IT Service Management and IT Governance in the Software Engineering Degree.

Xelere was, at the time, the leading IT Service Management company in Argentina and also several countries from LA. During the period worked with them, I led several ITSM consulting projects to design and implement various processes from the ITIL framework in several companies from different industries and countries (mainly LA and Spain).Also, part of my responsibilities included pre-sales consulting and development of commercial proposals, people management, staff training & coaching and developing and implementing the project management practice for the company.

KAYXO was a Danish capitals, product-oriented, agile software start-up that I worked for through RMYA, where I set up and led the process department where we did the design and implementation of the configuration management, change management and incident management processes for the company products and also identified and mapped out the different product value streams and developed and deployed the enterprise process map and the company operational model.

RMYA was a company strongly aligned to software engineering, quality and process improvement, primarily focused in large companies from different industries and countries (mainly LA), where I participated in different types of software projects, like software development, software quality assurance (including Y2K), data warehousing and business intelligence solutions, and also in a number of consulting services on topics of software engineering, software project management, software quality assurance and IT service management. As part of the consulting services I gave talks and workshops on topics of data warehousing, business intelligence, software project management and software quality assurance. Also, part of my responsibilities included pre-sales consulting and development of commercial proposals.

In this period I was in charge of the Systems Analysis and Design course of the Computer Science Degree, covering both theoretical lectures and practical activities.

During 1998 I gave lectures on topics of Software Project Management in the Project Management postgraduate course.

VCC was a pioneer Cable TV company in Argentina where I started my career path in 1989 working in IT infrastructure, operations and end-user support for 2 years, then moving to the software development and maintenance area for 6 years, where I was involved in different projects (first as a team member later as a team leader), including several application development and maintenance initiatives, the core system migration, the integration of several new operations (as a result of a number of mergers and acquisitions) and a new core system development, where I had the opportunity to work with providers from USA, developing activities both in Argentina and USA.
