I am an undergraduate student at MiraCosta Community College, pursuing Mathematics and Economics for my AA degree in Mathematics and Science, and an AS degree in Mathematics for Transfer. Throughout my lower-division studies, I've cultivated a strong interest in both technology and community service.My experience includes over a year of interning at the USDA National Institute of Food and Agriculture (NIFA) as a research assistant. In this role, I've honed my skills in data analysis within spreadsheets and large privatized databases. I've also been involved in allocating funding for potential institutes, contributing to the long-term sustainability of agriculture. All while, I'm dedicated to serving my local community, including involvement with the Hispanic Serving Institute (HSI). This commitment reflects my passion for making a positive impact beyond the classroom.I'm preparing to transfer to a four-year university to pursue a double major in Mathematics and Economics, with a minor in Computer Science. My goal is to delve into the tech industry, working as a data scientist or data analyst. I have aspirations of furthering my education with a Master's degree, enhancing my expertise and contributions to the field.
