I was born and raised in Bauru/SP, in times of slingshot, kite, soccer, and hide-and-seek. Always liked studying and having fun. Therefore, I grew up taking both study and fun seriously. I enjoyed competing and standing out amongst the others, either on grades or on soccer. At a certain point, I decided to dedicate myself exclusively to studying. After that, I chose electrical engineering due to my taste for physics, the kind of work, and the vast work field the major would offer me.
Accepted by two good schools, I went to study at USP São Carlos. Since I got in on the act, I had to run after the knowledge in order not to fail in the first semester. During college, I was emotionally strong when needed to recover grades and wise enough to manage my priorities and sail through high study demanding semesters at a demanding school. Yet during this period, I successfully developed an academic research project. I became interested in the energy field due to its importance to development, attracted by renewables, and excited about future perspectives for the sector.
During the masters, I had the opportunity of studying a new area that is on the spotlight in the whole world: battery energy storage systems. Participated in an R&D project that gave me the satisfaction of doing research closely related to the application level. That allowed me to see closely the future I had in mind, even though it was not flawless, in my major decision. I believe in the energy matrix transformation trend toward one with stronger renewable participation and in the key role energy storage systems have in this process.
Outside of work, I started to practice CrossFit. Because of its intense exercises, military aspect, and welcoming atmosphere, I identified myself with this challenging athletic modality. Wherever I may be, my desire is to develop my skills in a demanding environment, in which there is a culture of incentive and collaboration.Interests: Energy storage systems, distributed generation (PV and wind), energy trading, energy management and electric projects.
