Through TEOR, he has started the implementation of a comprehensive operational improvement plan for the company.Sergio has a BEng in Civil Engineering from UFMG, one of the prestigious universities in Brazil, graduating with gold medal award for the top score in his class of 1988, and a M.Sc. in Management from MIT Sloan School of Management in 1992. He has also pursued a continued executive education in IMD (Switzerland) and MIT Sloan School (USA).
