Stabilized and grew a camp organization, focusing on building stakeholder trust, overhauling and implementing policies and standard protocols, and developing new programs. My personal highlight was collaboratively developing a year-round, remote educational program that helped partners accomplish their stated (pre-pandemic) needs. It required leadership through the full lifecycle of concept through implementation: building trust with regional stakeholders, mapping their goals, thinking critically about how their needs matched the camp's goals, developing a creative solution that we could implement, marketing it, and delivering a quality program. The result was a program that prompted growth in both stakeholder communities and our own.

Developed a year-long, volunteer service program site in Cambodia from scratch. Arrived with a hotel reservation and one local contact and 6 months to build a network of Cambodian service sites and homestays as well as prepare a multi-week training for incoming volunteers. Sufficiently learned the language (Khmer), history, politics, and culture of Cambodia to build trusting relationships with Cambodian leaders of local development organizations, churches, and other services. Researched and acquired safe and stable placement sites, including stipends, transportation, communication, and health care services. Conducted the training and quarterly retreats for the first group of volunteers in country.

Initiated and guided a volunteer task force that researched demographics, opportunities, and challenges, asset-mapped resources, and organizational strategy process.
