Founded in 2016, Waste Away Station is Licking County's only publicly available non-hazardous solid waste transfer station. Waste Away Station is a fully licensed and permitted facility through the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency and the Licking County Health Department. The transfer station accepts non-hazardous solid waste and construction and demolition debris from individuals, businesses, contractors, and garbage haulers in any type of vehicle ranging from pick up trucks to garbage/roll off trucks.
