Work should be fun, and for me it is! I love coffee and I love the coffee business. My favourite part of working with coffee is exploring new flavours and developing roast profiles for interesting and exotic coffees. I also enjoy leading new product development for visionary entrepreneurs who come to us with their own twist or concept for a new coffee. I have a lot of experience developing marketing material and retail packaging. I have developed packaging for numerous retail brands as well as some of our own lines. I am experienced in working with the CFIA to meet their requirements. Also I am dedicated to the development and integrity of organic products, as well as creating systems and controls to attain and maintain organic certification. Being the organic officer at Delta Coffee Works is a title that I take with a large sense of responsibility. Another asset I bring to the table is being fully bi-lingual in Spanish/English. Having lived and worked in Latin America for over a decade has given me a full understanding of Latin American business culture and negotiation practices.When not at work you will find me Salmon Fishing, Camping, Boating, Wildcrafting, and exploring abandoned settlements on BC's coastline with my metal detector. I am a coastal historian and spend a lot of my free time researching places to explore and document through my YouTube channel.
