 Ensure safety programs in force at the time and safety procedures are implemented Review new procedures and manage their implementation Ensure reporting procedures concerning significant hazards, incidents, effluentand emission are followed accurately reported in the prescribed manner Maintain records on safety programs and ensure licenses and permits are current Identify safety training requirements and consult with the Project Manager forappropriate programsConduct information and induction sessions;  Assist in the identification of hazards in the workplace  Recommend preventative measures, including control systems to detect deviation from agreed safety policy  Liaise with the management team on the safety aspects plant/process modification, including equipment specifications, waste disposal and industrial hygiene, protective clothing and the storage of dangerous chemicals and other substances  Initiate and manage site emergency procedures  Obtain and coordinate the services and cooperation of external emergency authorities

• At Worth Recycling my responsibilities include, but are not limited to:- Provide effective & efficient SHEQ management of Worth’s St Mary’s Solid Waste Treatment Facility, Garden Island Facility (Australian Defence) & Industrial Services Division.- Ensure compliance with client requirements across a wide range of industries such as Oil & Gas, Mining, Commercial Construction, Telecommunications, Assets (both gas & electricity) & Rail.- Visit Worth Recycling facilities to assist the site management team with their “day to day” SHEQ requirements - Assist with the development and implementation of JSEA’s, procedures and SWMS’s ensuring alignment with organisational policies as well as legislative requirements - Develop, maintain & continuously improve Worth’s Pollution Incident Response Management Procedure to ensure compliance with Legislation - Conduct audits at the various sites of Worth Recycling which may cover administrative, safety or environmental aspects as directed- Liaise with customers & associated 3rd party organisations to meet all requirements & expectations - Facilitate, attend and assist with tool box meetings for all divisions of Worth Recycling - Ensure all required training material is available and meetings are documented - Conduct employee and contractor site inductions and maintain a register in accordance with the SHEQ management system - Assist with tender submissions and pre-qualification documents for quality, - Deliver safety meetings, record minutes and distribute accordingly - SHEQ reporting - Manage Spill Kits, PPE supplies and First Aid Kits - Conduct incident investigations - Co-ordinate registration of P&E and sites Dangerous Goods storage - Actively promote reporting of hazards, incidents, dangerous activities and ensure information is recorded - Coordinate the issuing of work permits- Ensure staff are trained & inducted, complying with legislative & customer requirements - Deliver training modules

-Develop, plan and implement the organisations Work Health & Safety Management Systems, with an overall aim to continuous improvement-Ensure the site complies with the organisations policies & procedures and WHS legislation-Liaise with safety contractors to ensure the company’s requirements are met-Conduct monthly and quarterly site safety audits-Complete risk assessments when new hazards & risks present themselves and establish effective corrective action as a result -Facilitate and Co-ordinate the monthly committee meetings-Conduct Pre-Induction Material Handling Equipment Assessment on all casual employees & new site employees-Provide advice to the Site Manager and supervisors regarding Health and Safety requirements-Assist in the development and implementation of safety policies & procedures-Implement and ensure Registers are kept and maintained regarding risks, hazards, injuries, first aid, PPE and maintenance-Give Health & Safety advice to Managers, Supervisors, Office Staff and Warehouse Workers. -Receive stock following the correct receiving procedures-Load/Unload trucks safely and efficiently -Reply to customer/client emails in a timely and professional manner-Utilize Microsoft Office Suite and create and update documents (Excel, Word)-Put away stock into correct locations by following procedures-Perform stock checks on numerous inventories, adjusting quantities when needed-Pick orders in a safe and timely manner-Wrap/Pack orders ensuring goods are safe & secure to dispatch-Operate, maintain and fix machinery where required-Load containers ensuring all dock and Dangerous Goods protocol are adhered to-Ensure that all safety policies and procedures are adhered to-Create and run Chep dockets and reports -Use of Warehouse Management Systems (Manhattan, 2ic, Citrix)-Consign Orders-Calculate Dangerous Goods load weights/quantities and complete DG paperwork -Pallet de-allocation -Tutor team members in correct safety procedures

-Ensure machinery is functioning correctly-Operate, maintain and fix Muller Martini machinery (news liners)-Run trimming stations and clear jams-Feed various inserts into hoppers (make necessary adjustments)-Supervise and operate strapping equipment-Provide assistance with operation of tray sorter system-Report to all Publishing Operations Supervisors-Stack paper bulk onto pallets-Load trucks-Coordinate distribution of Financial Review-Dock running (liaising with truck drivers to guide them into a dock on time, so they can receive and dispatch product accordingly)-Record truck times as they depart the dispatch area-Ensure truck drivers have correct product-Be actively involved in OH&S within the workplace via consultative arrangements-Quality control of products-Operate Manufacturing Planning and Control (MPC) system-Compile paperwork on EPA and make specialty parcels for all drivers-Participate in completion of promotion products-Work as part of a team-Assist other employees whenever needed

-First aid officer for all warehouse employees, attending to any injuries promptly-Receive stock-Load/Unload trucks-Allocate stock using the SEQOS system-Put away stock into correct locations-Perform stock take-Complete daily reports within set timeframes-Pick orders-Pack orders-Work despatch, ensure orders are in correct runs and on the manifest-General housekeeping duties-Provide assistance and training to others when required -Perform stock checks on numerous inventories-Liaise with customers and meet their needs on time-Code loose stock and reallocate to correct location
