CurrentProvide leadership and supervision over the digital design team; make decisions; solve problems with utilization of continuous improvement; develop operating procedures; develop data collection for key performance indicators, and ability to conduct effective meetings.Create overall requirements for dental prosthetic designs in collaboration with the development and marketing teams as well as customer input and knowledge gained from our direct customer contact.Meet with and support customers to understand their needs, align our ability to meet the need or implement guidance for product improvements and additions.Manage employee and team performance; provide new employee orientation; assist in providing adequate training for employees; coach, counsel and motivate employees; evaluate employees (set goals); implement disciplinary action as needed and in consultation with appointing authority and Human Resources.Oversee value stream while ensuring teams are focused on producing product of the highest quality in a safe and effective manner.Set overall direction of department in consultation and alignment with head of operations, peer managers and company goals.Administer and comply with all corporate system and policies. (E.g., timecard reporting, time off requests, annual reviews, CAPAs, etc.)Manage financial performance of department, including budgeting, forecasting and overtime, capital expenditures and operating expenses.Collaborate closely with peer managers with the goal of optimizing the total performance of all aspects of Operations including seamless communication, transparent decision-making, and progress review in meeting the company goals.Evaluate team needs – as needed, i.e. staffing levels, equipment or tools and provide support by removing barriers for improvement and progress.Provide leadership and mentorship.Promote, coordinate and support cross-functional interdepartmental teams to support operations.Implement and maintain 5s program
