At ShowingTime, we set appointments for realtors all across the country to show homes to their clients. In my time with the company I was given the opportunity to become a supervisors (administrator). I helped to maintain good customer relations between our company and theirs by providing on the phone customer service. I also worked directly with our employees on a daily basis to solve issues they may have so that we may better provide a more positive experience with our company.

During my time at Shawnee Police Department I have had the opportunity to be a part of the local citizen’s police academy. While at the internship I worked on staffing data that will better help the department to more efficiently utilize their current patrol officers. I also analyzed domestic violence reports in search of usages of Safe Home and documentation of Lethality Assessments. Lastly, the citizen’s police academy gave me the opportunity to visit many of the local criminal justice facilities. Between the internship and the citizens police academy I have a much broader view of the day-­to­day happenings of a police department.
