Lead Computer Technician
Current• Assists Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager in the operation and management, leadership, and operations of a retail center.• Supervises store personnel and store activities within designated areas, and in the absence of upper/same level management, assists in directing their corresponding sections.• Primarily responsible for the sales floor and its neighbouring technician stations; also holds regular supervisory presence over the rest of the store's assigned warehouse space while MoD (Manager on Duty).• Opens and closes the retail store and performs all administrative and clerical duties including making bank deposits and securing the building in accordance with established guidelines.• Demonstrates the competencies defined for a TEAM Leader within Goodwill's Leadership Competency Model and in alignment with its Core Values and Strategic Vision.Sales floor management responsibilities include:- tasking team members from all sections with necessary duties that ensure the continued success of the sales floor- instilling high-quality customer service practices and valuable technological knowledge unto cashiers and technicians- analyzing, quantifying, and keeping record of current and requisite store inventory in order to both report accurately to upper management and acquire ideal stock while also remaining within budget- maintaining an open line of communication with both satellite stores (located in Rockingham, NC and Shelby, NC) and keeping track of the stock they receive in shipments, aiding their success in the process- maintaining social media presence for the store and regularly updating it in order to reach a wider net of consumers while also preserving Goodwill's brand and image- determining ways to improve efficiency of the storefront and current processes while adhering to corporate and retail Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)- proficiency in all general Computer Technician tasks and the ability to perform/teach them when necessary
