Served as the Chairperson of the College Summit department a program that offers classroom and seminar support and college tours to students and families in all areas related to college access. Approximately 95% of College Summit students at Ellington enroll in four-year post-secondary institutions.Served as Chairperson of the Specialized Instruction Department, which ensures that artist-scholar-citizens with learning differences have access to a world-class arts and academic education at the Duke Ellington School of the Arts.Developed and led school-wide partnerships with national and regional partnerships with organizations including College Summit, Strive for College, and EVERFI.Sourced revenue generating partnerships with corporations including Target Corporation, Whole Foods Market, CSX Corporation, and Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts.Recognized by David Rubenstein, Founder of the Carlyle Group as one of the thirty most effective DCPS teachers in 2011 and was one of approximately 100 DCPS teachers who received the "Inspirational Educator Award" in 2016.

Co-taught across content areas including Biology, Pre-Algebra, World History, and 8th Grade English. Served as an IEP Case-Manager and led student IEP and initial and triennial eligibility meetings. Coached the Alice Deal Middle School boys baseball team to a DCPS City Championship.

Promoted to Team Leader role in and lead a team with as many as twelve enterprise researchers.Engaged decision makers at leader IT organizations to learn about organizational structure and IT-related purchasing decisions.Led weekly team meetings and team member performance reviews.

Developed a multi-million dollar rewards program for commuters who take "green trips". Managed the company's client service function including commercial account renewals. Sourced five and six figure sponsorship deals with companies including Chevron Corporation and Disney on Ice.

Managed in excess of $3 million in accounts for The Corporate Strategy Board business unit. Clients included C-level strategy and corporate development executives at Fortune 1000 organizations.Led analyst recruitment and training efforts.

Served as an investment banking analyst on mergers and acquisitions deals across a variety of industries including aviation, consumer products, and building products.Analyzed companies, performed financial modeling and valuations, and assisted with marketing and client work on sell-side M&A deals.Presented at pitches to develop new business as well as in client meetings.
